Inspired by Speedoru I've decided to do production wrap-ups for my episodes. I basically display how the production went and go into detail about design decisions and what not. Anyways

WIRD SPECIAL MINUITE TILL MIDNIGHT!

Okay Elephant in the room, What the Hooba am i doing releasing a New years special in the middle of summer. mainly because life got in the way but also I wanted to take the extra time (since I was always going to be late,) To really improve the art quality of the show.

some big things I wanted the episodes to include were more plot involvement from main characters that aren't Wird, Re-Introduce Twigatron and Hint at a mastermind behind Cableville's villians as well as showcase some action I could put in my portfolio. One of my only regrets with this episode is it isn't as funny or weird as id want it to be but otherwise I'm really happy with its outcome.

Characters now have lighting and drop shadows and are more detailed. Twigatrons BACK with a design I should've made simpler LMAO. The effects are flashier and theres spidervese esc effects accompanying every motion. all this to make this VISUALLY the most impressive WIRD episode yet.

I did the Thing where I re- watched old episodes and were repulsed by the quality, especially the drawings of some of the characters bc I know damn well I can draw better than that. This episode was basically a test of my skills as an artist and also my storyboarding skills. I still have a bit of a ways to go but everything was better boarded with help from my mentor.

On Twitter I had put out a call asking for characters people wanted to have as cameos in the episode. This was a huge success and a very fun thing to add to make the world more alive. Shoutout to the indie cartoon community for letting me showcase them.

Thinks that all the interesting things I could add. WIRD is going to be going on another small mini Hiatus until episode 15: Heroes fall. but I will be doing s'more WIRD related shorts to test out some different ways I could animate so expect a lot of experimental art style changes.
